I have "issues" with the phone too.

I CAN'T STAND tomotoes! *rofl*! Gag! When I was 10 my mom thought that I had never tried one, and that if I did I would like it. So she offered me a dollar if I would eat a slice of tomato... Man, did I want that dollar!... So I managed to gag the thing down, with my entire family laughing at my expressions... But hey, I got my dollar! ;)

Another way we're different... I don't like the feel of most things, including tree bark. My worst is the feel of velvet and foam. *lol* Ick!

Oh, I almost forgot...

I don't remember drawing that picture at all. Seriously, I have no memory of it. If you find it, I would be interested in seeing it. :D

;) I'll go through my stuff and see if I can find it when I get back from grandma's house (on the first). It was so beautiful. I can see the image of it so clearly in my mind - brown paper, pencil sketch. You captured the passion in His eyes so perfectly! I always admired your gift for art. I imagine with all your responsibilities it would be difficult to find time to just chill out and draw but when the time is right you will find the time to do it again. I don't believe you have the gift for no reason - maybe you could do an art class for your kids, that might even spark your own creativity? I've gone through many seasons where I've written next to nothing for months at a time but I'm learning to be consistent. Anyway, I better try to sleep. I'm so glad to have you back in my life! Merry Christmas and Happyp New Year to you and your family! --Anysia

Thanks Anysia... I am in tears... This means a lot.

About the Lit class. *lol* ... I did want to have classes together, I just wasn't so sure about Shakespear! *rofl* It never was my thing, you know.

Do you remember reading Julius Ceaser (sp?)? You were so excited about it, and I could barely keep my interest up. All the times we were supposed to be reading it at home, I never did (for shame!). So the night before the big test I sat at home and forced myself to read the entire book... And ended up getting the best grade in the class (because it was fresh in my mind). What irony! (Though I think your score was just a point of two under mine? Wasn't it?)

Do you remember Mr. Meyer? He liked me a lot that year, and even lent me his personal books... Then I had him again the next year, when I was working so much at Burger King... I fell asleep in class once, and I got on his bad side!

Ah... The joys of high school!

It's amazing to me all the memories that are coming back!

Oh, by the way... I have a picture of "Kibbles and Bits" too. Remember him? :D

Julie - *rofl* I remember Shakespeare not being your thing. I don't remember reading "Julius Ceaser" (go figure) but oh boy do I remember "Mutiny on the Bounty"! That book still freaks me out. The movie was worse. What you said about "Julius Ceaser" reminds me of the time I had to do a book report on "Moby Dick". I read the first few chapters and then the first and last paragraph of all the rest of them (that's one long book!), wrote my report and got an A because the teacher hadn't even read the book. I felt bad for fibbing about it but still felt like I read the whole thing even just reading first and last paragraphs. I remember Mr. Meyer too. He was one of my least favorites to begin with (we got into an argument over the proper format of poetry Freshman year *LOL*) and in the end he was one of my best teachers. Do you remember Mr. Taylor? Ugh. Algebra II, the only class I ever dropped and had to retake because I was in danger of failing. You have a picture of "Kibbles and Bits"? Wow! I do think of him off and on. *rofl* I can't believe you have his picture, that is crazy. Remember when he did his song for the school talent show and he needed a bunch of necklace chains? I didn't get half of mine back but I never cared as long as I could convince myself that he still wore them sometimes! *LOL*
