My name is Anysia Derora. I’m 37 years old and am a Spirit-filled, born again Christian. I was born in Eastern Washington and raised in Portland, OR and Vancouver, Washington. Currently I live in Oregon and am seeking God’s will for me here. Writing and music have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I write praise and worship songs, poems and short stories and have just recently begun looking into the possibility of writing freelance articles. My passion is helping people who have been abused find healing and wholeness in Christ and one day I would like to open a safe house for women and children who have been trafficked for sex slavery and have been rescued. I also have a desire to work with people who struggle with mental illness, particularly depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociative Identity Disorder (D.I.D.).
